Just A Little Bit Nutty

I am formally called The True Nut.
But if you know me, you may call me Nutty.
I am of the great Thoroughbred bloodlines.
I am a buckskin pelted mare at sixteen.three hands high at only four years old. (I am registered as a bay in the Jockey Club.)

Ok, so maybe I'm a little... Different at times. Ok, most times, I'll admit. But at least I'm not mean about it- Oh wait. I sorta am.. Well I don't mean it and it's the thought that counts right? I mean it! I really don't mean to be mean when I bit your face, or pull your hair, or purposely step on your toes. Honest!
Take it as a sign of affection will ya'?!
I mean honestly! Haven't you ever heard of a love-hate relationship? We could have one of those! I pretend to love you and you more then likely hate me! See? It all works out!
Now you see, I would really love you if you had some treats for me! I would love you enough to take our relationship to the next level (Obsessed-Loath Relationship)! (Rest of personalty below)

My Favorite Treat is: Anything! Really! I've eaten chicken, hot cheese puffs, beer, candy corn, coke, donuts, anything! (XDD All after a real life pony lol)
My Favorite Person Is Who ever has food at the moment! (Sam, but you tell anyone, you die a horrible death! One that involves marshmallows! You have been warned.)
In A Race I am very competitive, especially with attention! If I'm not in the lead, I know the people aren't watching me. And if the people aren't watching me, I will do something to make them watch me! I'll buck if I have to! Though, I'm pretty sure Sam won't be too thrilled about that though... So maybe I'll only do that as a last ditch effort!
My Racing Style I like to hang in the front. I can get a good view and can get around pretty easily. I hate being in the pack! They won't get out of my way! And stupid Sam won't hit them or something to make them move! Ugh!
For that reason, I am never caught in the pack. I get clear of the pack as soon as I'm out of the gate and watch the front runners. I sometimes like to tease them by gaining on them a few strides before falling back to make them panic and run a bit faster. I don't do it too often though. I'm more focused on the race more then anything and will not goof up enough to lose. I may be crazy, but I'm not that crazy!
My Strange Family My father, True Italian, was a retired racer, with some steeplechase on the side. He only had three wins and didn't even make it past Grade five!
My mother had recently passed away (from what I've heard at least). So now there will never be another me (Aren't you lucky?) Then again, Sam is crazy enough to breed me...
Anyway- my mother, Nutcracker, was a respectable Grade 3 racer. Nothing seemed too special about her, but then again I rarely got to know her.
My full bother, Odd Nut, is much quieter then me. Quite strange. It's fun being crazy!
My half sister, Cute Italian, is even stranger. She's nice to all the humans. Where's the fun in that? I mean sure, I see her throw her weight out a little bit every now and then but come on! (I'll admit it, I'll show my soft side to Sam every once in awhile. But only her. If word gets out that I have a soft side, they'll never let me live it down! Besides, no one would believe Sam anyway. She'll just seem as crazy as me!)
Before My Racing Career I was just any average filly. Nothing was special about me besides my coat. Sam never thought much of me and truly only saw me as a great jumper prospect. Out of curiosity she decided to give me a try on the track.
The second I took off, she was hooked and so was I. Her hopes for me was higher then any vertical, painted rail and frankly, I'm glad. I'd rather have my fun on the track then in an arena! I need to have competition or else why should I bother giving my best?[/size]

Placed out of money only six times! (All only 4th place too!)

My Turf Preferance- I run very well on the grass. This is my favorite surface! (Great)
My Dirt Preference- I don't care much for the dirt but I still run good on it. I have not ran on dirt in a very long time. I feel as if any powerful stride I put in wouldn't result in any speed. (Okay)
I run up to five to ten lengths. Me and my rider have been working on getting me to run longer. I can run up to eleven furlongs, but not as well as my rider would like. She says I could still place well but probably not win yet at that distance. We have decided to stick to the five to ten distance as she thinks I am doing great enough at this distance and doesn't want to jinx it. (I think I could still beat them though.)
